Powering the future
Green Energy from Renewable Sources
At De.pla, we have chosen to power the future by reducing the environmental impact of our productions. This year, we have once again signed a contract for the supply of green energy, meaning energy from certified renewable sources.
We use modern, high-performance machinery with low energy consumption.
When the roof was replaced for the energy requalification of the building, the new roofing was designed to promote the use of natural lighting in all work environments. Additionally, the lighting system was entirely replaced with LED devices.
Photovoltaic System
Photovoltaics is the optimal solution for safeguarding the environment. For this reason, and precisely with environmental sustainability in mind, De.pla has installed a latest-generation photovoltaic system that guarantees the production of 80% of its annual energy needs.
The advantages of using solar radiation, as an alternative to fossil fuels, are numerous. First and foremost, it serves to reduce CO2 emissions, which have a disastrous impact on the climate and ecosystems.

Raw Material: sustainability is in your hands
De.pla has recently obtained the Certificate of Conformity, issued by TÜV Italia, regarding the use of 100% recycled plastic material (TUV certified).
This means that by purchasing models from this range, De.pla customers can benefit from products made with full respect for the environment. An additional added value for a quality range, now even more eco-friendly.
The achievement of this certification is a source of pride for us as it represents, in our small way, a step forward towards a greener future: sustainability has always been an integral part of our way of working.
Raw material: recyclability process
Within our company, all production waste is reground and reintroduced into the production cycle, avoiding waste or the use of new raw materials. This is what we do daily.
There is also another recycling possibility: the circular economy. The latter is based on the possibility of discussing tailor-made solutions directly with individual clients for the collection of used and/or faulty hangers. This leads to the destruction of hangers, regeneration of the material, and molding of new hangers = zero waste of raw materials and zero disposal at recycling centers.
Treedom, the forest that grows with us
De.pla is not just synonymous with high quality, but also with sustainability. This is precisely why we decided to embrace the Treedom project, thanks to which our forest was born: 200 cocoa trees growing in the heart of Cameroon.
This initiative not only created employment opportunities for local farmers, but, over time, will also help the environment by capturing a total of 11 tons of CO2.
